1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the EcoComply platform, website, or services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you are using our Services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization.

2. Services Provided

EcoComply offers AI-powered regulatory compliance tools to help manufacturers manage product compliance workflows and regulatory intelligence. These services are in MVP phase and may be updated, limited, or withdrawn at any time without notice.

3. User Responsibilities

• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to enter into binding agreements.

• Account Security: You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your credentials.

• Lawful Use: You agree not to use our Services for unlawful or prohibited purposes, including misuse of compliance data.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, platform features, and software related to EcoComply are owned by EcoComply UG or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any part of the Services without prior written consent.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of EcoComply is governed by our Privacy Policy. We are GDPR-compliant and take data protection seriously. You maintain full rights over your personal data and can request access or deletion at any time.

6. Disclaimers and Liability Limitations

EcoComply provides its Services “as is,” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, data accuracy, or complete regulatory coverage.

While we use AI to automate key processes, we maintain a human-in-the-loop model to ensure that the results and regulatory recommendations delivered are accurate and verifiable to the extent reasonably possible.

We are also in the process of obtaining relevant professional liability insurance to cover applicable risks associated with the provision of compliance-related information and recommendations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EcoComply disclaims all liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Services. Users remain responsible for their own final regulatory decisions and compliance implementation.

7. Modifications and Termination

We may modify these Terms or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes your acceptance. We reserve the right to terminate access if these Terms are violated.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively by the competent courts in Heidelberg, Germany.
